Urban Expressions is the place where function and fashion intersect to create a new kind of handbag. The company itself is founded in a similar intersection between fashion and function. Owners Kyle Vojdani and Farbod Shakouri were always interested in the fashion industry, and attended middle and high school together before parting ways to attend rival universities. Both men completed their degrees, and Kyle, who had taken a job for a textile manufacturer while in school, took his knowledge of the industry to a new level in 2004 and launched Urban Expressions. Then, in 2005, Farbod joined Urban Expressions while the two friends were watching a soccer match together. Kyle's creativity was perfectly complimented by Farbod's analytical mind, and together the two continue working to maintain that same incredible balance in their products.

By embracing these two seemingly contradictory elements of style and utility, Urban Expressions successfully navigates the modern handbag market with ease.
