I've tried very expensive work shoes that can not compare to the comfort of these. They are firm but not tight. The others were either too stiff or weren't true to size. I have other Skechers sneakers and they fit great so I figure I would try the work sneaker. I'm so glad I did and purchased 3 pairs.
