The Coloriffics company was started in 1950 when salesman George Speen began selling shoe products from the back of his car. During his travels, he discovered that women wanted a stylish, comfortable dress shoe that they could wear for both evening occasions and important events, something that was not widely available at the time. Soon, Coloriffics was enjoying nationwide success selling their signature dress shoes in a variety of colors, including a dyeable version.

Today, Coloriffics still offers dyeable shoes, but the company has also updated its collection to include some of today's top footwear trends.
